Jessica Sisti
Jessica SistiExecutive Director
Jessica was born and raised in Buffalo New York (Go Bills!). She attended Medaille College for Sports Management where she played softball for the Mavericks. Her hobbies include ALL THINGS SPORTS. Her favorite teams are the Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Lakers. She is also a pet lover and enjoys spending time with her 7 pound puppy Lincoln. She moved to Florida in November 2016 where she immediately began working in Senior Living. She has been involved in a variety of things such as administration, nursing staffing, being a Med Tech and doing patient care and strategic planning. One of her accomplishments was attaining gold accreditation for the work she did with the Montessori Program for the residents in the memory care unit. Jessica moved to St. Petersburg Florida in November of 2016 and has been the Executive Director at The Princess Martha since April of 2019.
Melanie Vannozzi
Melanie VannozziActivities & Life Enrichment Director
Melanie Vannozzi was born in New York but grew up in Chesterfield, Virginia. After attending John Tyler College as a business major, she spent 20 years working for the Chester County Transportation Department; both for the Virginia Public School system and the Chester YMCA. She then joined Bermuda Amoco serving as the office manager/bookkeeper until 2017, at which time she relocated to St Pete to be closer to family. Initially hired at The Princess Martha as a part-time employee, Melanie has worked her way through the ranks, and in 2019 she was promoted to the Activities & Life Enrichment Director. Melanie is the proud mom of twins and enjoys crafting, singing, playing the piano, and spending time with her new granddaughter Paisley Rose.
Barrie Freeman
Barrie FreemanMarketing Director
Barrie is a native Floridian, originally from Orlando. She earned a BA degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from UCF. She opened her first restaurant at age 26, then spent the next two decades developing culinary and entertainment concepts throughout Central Florida. Responding to the demand for locally grown organic food, Barrie created a patented hydroponic urban farming system for her restaurants, and in 2009 a new business was born. She traveled the country as the National Sales Director for Grow Up HydroGarden until its sale in 2013. It was then that Barrie decided to make a bucket-list move and relocated to St Pete to live on a boat downtown. She worked as the Regional Sales Manager for The Electric Marina until joining The Princess Martha family in early 2019. Barrie has 2 grown children, loves to travel, and has a passion for gardening and boating.
Steve Bohlen
Steve BohlenPlant Operations Supervisor
Steve Bohlen has worked in the Senior Industry for decades, and has been involved on many levels including construction, concept development, ownership and partnership. Working with TJM Properties since 1985, he is responsible for the construction of 15 senior living facilities throughout his career. Currently Steve serves as the Plant Operations Supervisor for The Princess Martha and is charged with maintenance, security, and transportation, as well as assisting in the daily operation of the building. Steve is a fun-loving and easy-going guy, and can be counted on for wearing two thingsā€¦his genuine smile and his cowboy boots!
Barbara Burton
Barbara BurtonFood & Dining Director
Barbara Jean Burton was born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts and brought up in a religious family. As a child she watched her Grandma cook, and by the time she was in high school knew she wanted to be a Chef. At age 24, and with a lot of cooking and restaurant experience under her belt, Barb became the Kitchen Manager at a 250-resident rehabilitation center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She simultaneously enrolled in the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Academy, and in 1989 she earned her Culinary Degree, graduating top of her class. Eventually the warm climate brought her to St Petersburg where she developed a loyal following in several local restaurants, and in 2019 was recruited to take over as the Director of Dining Services for The Princess Martha. Chef Barb is a Mom and Grandma, and in her free time enjoys life with her spouse.
Angela Butler
Angela ButlerHousekeeping Director
Angela Butler was born and raised in St Petersburg Florida. The early part of her career was spent with the Pinellas County school system, working in food services. In 2003 Angela made the move to the private sector and began her tenure with The Princess Martha. Beginning as a server in the dining room and eventually moving to the housekeeping department, she was promoted to Director of Housekeeping in 2018. In her free time Angela enjoys camping and having fun with her son and grandbaby.
